Smartsense proximity marketing is designed to create maximum engagement with customers. It knows when customers enter and leave your locations. What’s more if customers create an opt in account they become part of your marketing database enabling you to further monetise and develop the offline and online shopping experience.
Smartsense essentially allows you to design the entire customer journey to deliver relevant, personalised content based on assessment of customers’ behaviours at your location. Leveraging the powerful CROWD SDK and cloud based API’s you can enable additional location based services to meet your specific needs.
How does Smartsense proximity work?
Unlike other proximity marketing platforms, which alert based on closeness to a particular location using GPS, or require the smart device to be running a particular app, the CROWD platform automatically recognises users who have previously used Wi-Fi.
If the system knows an email or SMS address of the customer, when the customer approaches the Smartsense Wi-Fi sensor, an email or text message can be launched. Alternatively, the system can send messages based on the visit, hours or even days later, or after a certain number of visits have been recorded, like a loyalty program. You the customer can dictate the advanced criteria, such as previous shopping history or whatever other big data is available.
